It is less than 3 weeks until the biggest, bestest, most wunderbar celebration kicks off! We are so excited (and BUSY) for this year's Fest. And we have something special to share with those who read our blog. We know there aren't a whole lot of you just yet (I blame myself), but sometimes it pays to be in the minority!
We are trying something new this year at our Fest, a soft rollout, if you will. We understand that the world is moving in a cashless direction, and we'd like to try and move a little in that direction (but you KNOW how stubborn Germans can be!!) at our Fest this year. So, I am providing a link at the end of the blog that will allow you to purchase advance sale German Fest tickets online for $5.00 ($6.00 at the gate). Provided everything works according to plan, there will be a special "express entry" line for advance sale tickets, though there may still be some waiting at peak entry times.
Though you will still need cash for all other items at the Fest itself, we are hoping this pilot will allow us to move forward in accepting credit cards for other purchases in the future. We are looking forward to having an exceptional 2 days of German Food, German Music, German Beer, German Dancing and all around German Culture!
